This website is operated by Caelastra ("we", "us", "our"), based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Caelastra is the controller of any personal data collected through this site. You can contact us at [email protected].
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, where you've asked for one, to carry out a free audit of your business's online presence. Our legal basis for this is legitimate interests under UK GDPR — specifically, our interest in responding to enquiries you've chosen to send us. Where this leads to a working relationship, some processing may instead rely on performance of a contract at that point.
We don't sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your enquiry is sent to our own email inbox, hosted by a third-party email provider, solely so we can read and reply to it — this provider processes the data on our behalf and does not use it for their own purposes.
We keep enquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you — typically no more than 12 months if no further contact or working relationship follows. If you become a client, we keep relevant information for the duration of that relationship and for as long afterward as UK law requires (for example, for tax and accounting purposes).
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month, as required by law.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, we'd appreciate the chance to put it right directly — but you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
We may update this notice from time to time, for example if the way we collect or use information changes. Any updates will be posted on this page.
